Wow... with bell canada, the email/im button brings me straight to windows live... so we dont have any other options plus we have to pay an additional 10$ extra to use because its a 3rd party app. we dont get to have outlook or gmail unless we use the browser and go on the website. so
You can do IM Fowarding which is basically the same thing except you dont get your buddy list but your still online with AIM and you can still conversate with people.
I can text message all day with the instinct, why would I need AIM or any other instant message service, also the instinct records a copy of the entire conversation
not a bad first model phone but sprint certainly needs to get on point with the upgrades. it has everything but nothing. i like the phone, it's handy, live search and searching for businesses, residences, etc. from the nav system is freakin awesome, call clarity is good, but no IM client?(!) plus the browser is prehistoric. and the screen easily smudges and scratches; why the hell didnt they make it out of glass like the iphone, i dont know. sprint has work to do.
i dont think you can physically put aim on the phone but if you want to use aim mobile from it you'll have to google it or just keep web browsing for it from your phone and search for it that way. it took me forever to find it but you can use aim mobile, you just can't get it physically on the phone (which sucks)...let it be known that this is a decent phone but isn't by any means an iphone killer
