Emulating SSBM in dolphin. Don't be fooled by the video's speed, i sped it up to show what it would be like at a playable speed. not full speed.
one of the downsides to dolphin-beta is that even though you can save, it's slower than this one and when an unlockable character comes, so you can defeat and get him, dolphin crashes(it just stops what is doing and freezes).

then ones i used in this video aren't midies
People who want to make Dolphin faster watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hKqUyX_Eh4
I tried what was in the video and it works,
here's a screenshot: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/7143/linkssbmdolphinug9.png
the speed use to be about 3-5fps and now 12-16fps.
Dolphin64 is out now, but only works on windows 64bit and should be able to run SSBM at full speed, around 30fps or higher.

The only way ( that I know ) to get this rom is through torrents, same for other gamecube games.
Update (nov 18/2008) this is actually old news: Dolphin now runs better on 32 bit winxp
